The Yorkshire Dales were our playground for
this final day of the Generations Rally. As the day
dawned bright and clear, an action-packed circular
route around Harrogate lay ahead, as engines fired
up and the crews readied themselves for a final
assault on the leaderboard.
There were possibly two sorts of competitors this morning,
those content with their position and wanting to cement it,
and those who felt they had something extra to give and were
keen to move up a position or two. Three Regularities and
three Tests took the Rally on a helter-skelter ride alongside
reservoirs, rivers, and to religious establishments, with a
coffee break and Time Control at Jervaulx Abbey.
