Well they say that all good things must come to an end and indeed, just as this rally came to its
conclusion, the glorious weather seemed to take its leave as well. We woke to low cloud and a little
moisture in the air, but this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit and, at the leisurely time of 9.15am, the
rally headed out towards the the finish line via three Tests and one Regularity featuring some more
great landscapes, and a little Rally the Globe humour.
The Cow and Calf on Ilkley Moor gave the crews a chance to grab a quick coffee before they struck out towards a pair of
hillclimb style Tests at Haw Pike Farm and then smartly on to the finish line in the village of Hetton for a Michelin starred
lunch, and a car park prize giving.
