Swimming against the tide of the Nagano rush hour, meant we had an easy passage out of the highest
prefectural capital in Japan, en-route to some iconic Japanese motorsport and another dose of culture.
Two Tests at the Sportsland Shinshu facility opened the day’s proceedings on an exquisite dirt and gravel forest circuit.
It was tight and slippery, a credit to Mr Yoshida, President of the local motor club who are fortunate enough to call this
their home track.
